Rev. Mark Harkness and the Cargle Chapel AME Church Family invites you to join us for a Daniel Fast January 11 - 31, 2026.
The Daniel Fast is a spiritual discipline grounded in Scripture and practiced by believers who desire aspire to a deeper intimacy with God. The Book of Daniel details the biblical account where Daniel chose to abtain from rich foods and rathered to consume simple foods as he sought understanding, wisdom, and direction from God.
The intent of the fast is to promote a greater awareness of God's presence in your life and strengthen your spirit.
